Fashion photographer Scott Schuman, aka The Sartorialist, has been documenting Milan’s stylish residents and the city’s hidden gems for more than two decades. Now, his coffee-table book, simply titled Milano and published by Taschen, offers an overview of the city’s impeccably dressed denizens.

Portraits and candid shots of anonymous Milanese vie for attention with those of illustrious ones such as Miuccia Prada, Luciano Barbera and the late Franca Sozzani. With a foreword by Giorgio Armani no less, the book is a delight for fashion lovers as well as fans of Italy’s fashion capital.
