Taste of Hong Kong assembles pop-up bars, tastings and masterclasses in addition to impressive line-up of restaurants

If you loved Taste of Hong Kong last year, it looks to be even better this year. They’ve got rid of the silly festival token payment system in favour of credit and smartphone pay systems that normal people use, and there will be pop-up bars, tastings and masterclasses, not to mention the line-up of restaurants will be more impressive than ever.

In addition to returning participants Duddell’s, OKRA and Zuma, a dozen other restaurants will be feeding us at the festival, including BlackSalt, Bo Innovation, Caprice, Frantzen’s Kitchen, Haku, One Harbour Road and Pici.

Each restaurant will offer four small plates - one of which will be exclusive to Taste, and one of its limited edition iconic dishes.

The four-day festival starts on March 22, but luckily, we have a bit of eye candy to tide us over until then. Renowned animater Frank Nitty, who has collaborated with Gucci, Burberry and Adidas, has worked his motion graphic magic on the participating chefs.
