Big Bang rapper has been repeatedly hospitalised, which has put him out of action for about 50 days of his military assignment so far

Big Bang idol G-Dragon, who has been on compulsory military duty since February, was reportedly hospitalised again for 15 days due to chronic ankle problems.

The rapper got his assignment in April, and has been out of action for about 50 days.

His medical condition is the result of repetitive sprains which, if not treated properly, could hinder his ability to balance.

The K-pop star had an ankle operation in May in Seoul and – which stirred a controversy as he allegedly received preferential treatment while recovering.

He was reportedly given a one-bed hospital room at an army hospital in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, of the sort normally reserved for colonels.
