Following Aman Tokyo and Amanemu, Aman Resorts continues expanding its footprint in Japan with Aman Kyoto, expected to open in November. Once again designed by Kerry Hill Architects, the resort will comprise a series of pavilions inside a hidden garden just a few minutes from the landmark Kinkaku-ji, or the Temple of the Golden Pavilion.

Its 24 guest rooms and two villas will have signature Japanese aesthetics marrying simplicity with a respect for nature. Aman chair and CEO Vladislav Doronin says the hotel will “unveil the many dimensions of Kyoto through the eyes of Aman”.
