After expressing gratitude to fans, Jin said: “How about creating music using more honest means? I wish for the advent of an era in which everybody makes and appreciates good music.”
Many speculate the singer was aiming at the chart manipulation scandal which is ricocheting through the Korean entertainment industry. Some singers have been suspected of rigging their rankings mostly by employing an automatic mouse clicker program to keep replaying their tracks on streaming services.
Musicians – including Park Kyung of boy band Block B – have blasted the suspected singers either directly or indirectly over the allegation.

The singers Park mentioned said they would take legal action against him for alleged defamation. Park said he would fight the action.
Meanwhile, BTS clinched nine awards at the ceremony, including Artist of the Year, Best Male Group and Album of the Year.
