Want to have a one-day getaway without leaving Hong Kong? Make the most of the city’s many Valentine’s Day promotions, especially those that offer dining and spa experiences under one roof. The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hong Kong is offering a series of dining and spa excursions.

Fine-dining institution Amber will be offering a four-course (HK$1,988 per person (US$258)) and eight-course (HK$2,988 per person) seasonal menu, fit for the most exceptional Valentine. The more relaxed SOMM restaurant, which serves over 1,600 varieties of champagne, will be providing a jubilant evening of bubbly champagne pairings with a four-course (HK$1,988 per person) or six-course (HK$2,988) menu.

If you prefer to slow down and take it easy with your sweetheart, a day at The Oriental Spa might be more your speed. For the month of February, the bespoke Sanctuary Suite offers a couple’s retreat (HK$5,550 for two from Monday to Thursday; HK$5,950 for two from Friday to Sunday and public holidays), which includes a 60-minute body massage, 30-minute facial or body scrub and 60-minute private use of spa facilities, including the steam sauna and aroma bath.
