If Hyun Bin, the South Korean heartthrob leading the show in Crash Landing on You also got you screaming with excitement, check out Secret Garden. Although the show was first aired in 2010, it’s one of the best television shows featuring Hyun. He plays an arrogant tycoon heir whose body switches with a stuntwoman (starring Ha Ji-wo) and later falls in love with her. Secret Garden was written by veteran playwright Kim Eun-sook, who was also responsible for Descendants of The Sun (2015) and Goblin (2016). There are many others featuring Hyun Bin available on Netflix, but Secret Garden is a good place to start.

Something in the Rain

At a similar time last year, Son ye-jin, the lead actress in Crash Landing On You was also trending well with her performance in Something in the Rain. Son as an accomplished office lady who falls in love with her best friend’s younger brother. The story was reportedly inspired by the love story of the Song-song couple: actress Song Hye-kyo and actor Song Joong-ki of Descendants of The Sun-fame, who have since divorced.

Her Private Life

For fashionistas who covet the posh wardrobe of Crash Landing on You, Her Private Life is not to be missed. Gallery curator Sung Deok-mi (starring Park Min-young)’s love story with art director Ryan Gold (starring Kim Jae-wook) is complimented by a drool-worthy high fashion wardrobe filled with Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior and Miu Miu.
