Pink October breast cancer awareness activities in Hong Kong and Macau

There are numerous activities you can enjoy this month while showing your support for efforts to defeat breast cancer
It is now widely acknowledged that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and many people wear pink ribbons to advocate the cause, honour survivors, remember those who were lost to the disease, and support the progress the world is making in our efforts to defeat breast cancer.
This month, there is a host of special activities in Hong Kong to celebrate and advocate the cause.
The Langham Hong Kong
The Langham, Hong Kong will be offering a Think Pink afternoon tea, and executive pastry chef David Puig will be crafting some fancily pink treats for the tea set, with a portion of the proceeds going to supporting the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. The Think Pink afternoon tea is available at Palm Court from October 1 to November 18.
Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour
From October 1 to 31, Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour is offering two new drinks, with a portion of their costs going to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. One of the drinks is Dr. Her, inspired by Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States and the first woman on the UK Medical Register. The other drink is Hayman’s Three Women, inspired by the three strong women in Christopher Hayman’s life: his mother Marjorie, his wife Karin and his daughter Miranda.
