K-pop star Leeteuk of Super Junior and actress Jin Se-yeon to co-host 2018 KPMA ceremony

The boy band member, 35, and actress, 24, know for her role in ‘Bridal Mask’, will present the inaugural Korea Popular Music Awards ceremony on Thursday
K-pop star Leeteuk, leader of the boy band Super Junior, and the South Korean actress Jin Se-yeon will co-host Thursday’s inaugural 2018 Korea Popular Music Awards (KPMA) ceremony.
The music awards event will feature a star-packed line-up of K-pop artists, including Super Junior, NCT127, The Boyz, Red Velvet, Roy Kim, Simon Dominic, MAMAMOO, Momoland, Ben, BTOB, (G) I-DLE, Wanna One, Chungha and Pentagon.
The ceremony, which is being held at the Korea International Exhibition Centre, in Ilsan, Gyeonggi province, about 20km (12 miles) from Seoul, will be the third time the two stars have presented an event together.
They were also co-hosts at the 2016 Super Seoul Dream Concert and 2017 Dream Concert in Pyeongchang.
Leeteuk, 35, whose real name is Park Jeong-su, recently completed the Super Junior World Tour, titled “Super Show 7”, which started in Seoul last December.
The group also released its eighth repackaged album “Replay” in April and a special mini-album, “One More Time”, in October.
Jin, 24 is regularly seen on South Korean television in variety and talk shows, as well as appearing in television drama and film roles.
She first attracted attention with her role in the television drama series Bridal Mask and was most recently seen in Grand Prince.
