Nichkhun, a Thai-American member of the K-pop boy band 2PM, has released his first solo album since his debut in the band 11 years ago.
The album “ME”, which features nine tracks, all composed and written in English by Nichkhun, was made available on Monday, JYP Entertainment, his management company said.
The album is fronted by the single Lucky Charm, which combines mellow melodies with Nichkhun’s sweet voice.
The song “carries a story about fantasy and reality”, said Nichkhun, 30, whose full name is Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul.
“It may become more soothing if you listen on a lazy morning or before going to bed.”
The album was made available for streaming on Monday evening in South Korea, as well as in China and Thailand.
“ME” also includes the track Umbrella, a special song dedicated to Nichkhun’s fans, which is available in four different languages – Korean, English, Chinese and Thai, JYP said.
