What does the updated iPhone XS have that the old X does not?

The latest edition comes with some improved features and a longer battery life than the X, but is it worth upgrading?
Every autumn, Apple introduces new iPhones. And every autumn, many iPhone users wonder, “Should I upgrade?”.
This year was, in Apple speak, an “S year,” which means that one of the new iPhones, the iPhone XS, was an upgrade rather than a total overhaul.
Which begs the question, if you have an iPhone X – which is only a year old – do you need to upgrade to the XS?

Here is how the iPhone X compares to the iPhone XS.
1. The iPhone XS comes in more colours

The iPhone X came in just two colours: silver/white and space grey/black.
