Fancy a drink at 40,000 feet? When you fly business class or first class aboard an Emirates A380 Airbus, you can do just that, in impeccable style.
The Dubai-based airline has recently upgraded the on-board lounge on the upper deck of its A380s to provide passengers with an intimate yet stylish bar and lounge experience.
The revamped lounge, inspired by private yacht cabins, accommodates up to 26 guests, and has an array of lighting options which can create different ambient settings.
The airline has trained over 6,000 crew members as mixologists, who can create 14 cocktails – including Bloody Marys and Apple Spritzer mocktails.
The bar also serves bubbly such as Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot and offers six wines (according to destination), as well as fine spirits such as Hennessy XO Cognac and Chivas Regal 18-year-old Scotch whisky. Canapés and bar snacks are also available.
The 21-square-metre spot is ideal for socialising and unwinding after a business trip, and can leave you feeling on top of the world.
