Zhou investigation details will be made public, Beijing insists
Details to be announced "when the investigation has come to a specified stage,” Zhang Sujun, vice-minister of justice, said

Details of the graft investigation into former security tsar Zhou Yongkang will be made public, a senior judicial official has pledged.
Zhang Sujun, vice-minister of justice, said that the party’s anti-graft agency was continuing its investigation into the former member of Politburo Standing Committee, even though it might take longer than expected to gather evidence.
“(We) will make an announcement to the public when the investigation has come to a specified stage,” Zhang told a news briefing in Beijing on Wednesday morning.
Zhang said that to date Zhou had been subject to a secret internal probe for misconduct by the party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. However, the CCDI investigation can still produce evidence that can be used in court.
“The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection has been conducting its examination and investigation into Zhou’s case in accordance with the law,” Zhang said.
He added as the authorities have taken a painstaking approach to the gathering of evidence, the probe may take longer than expected.
