Kindly Chinese man invites beggar to dinner ... and she abducts his three-year-old granddaughter

A Good Samaritan in southern China took pity on a woman begging on the street by inviting her home for dinner and she later abducted his three-year-old granddaughter, a newspaper reported.

The man from Zhongshan in Guangdong invited the woman home on Wednesday after spotting her on a road, the Legal Evening News said.

The woman in her 40s gained the man’s trust and took the girl while he was not looking after eating and chatting for about two hours, the report said.

The woman, whose full name was not given, was arrested the next day after the family alerted the police.

The girl suffered no physical injuries after her ordeal, according to the report.
