Chinese people returning to work after their Lunar New Year holiday often load up their cars and suitcases with their favourite local foods to remind them of home.
This year some motorists have shown their creative side when transporting chickens, ducks and other animals that they plan to eat later.

Photographs showing one car being driven on a highway with a live chicken taped to the boot lid and two live ducks hanging inside plastic bags have gone viral on mainland social media, news website Southcn.com reported.
A number of pictures of the vehicle, posted on Saturday, show the three animals being transport by a grey car with a Dongguan number plate as it travels along an expressway in Guangdong province.
Internet users were amused by the photos.
“Won’t the birds lose all their feathers after the highway trip?” one person commented.
“Some passengers were not buckled up!” another commentator wrote.
On Saturday night, the official Weibo account of the traffic police in Shenzhen posted a photograph of seven chickens inside plastic bags hanging from a long stick on the back of a van with a Shenzhen number plate.
“The Shenzhen people are unwilling to lag behind,” the post said.
However, the police also warned that transporting poultry and other live animals in this way was illegal.
