A Chinese man hurrying to catch a train that was about to depart from the station tried to save precious seconds at the security gate by leaping onto a moving conveyor belt with his bag and crawling through the scanning machine, mainland media report.

When the man stood up after passing through the machine on Sunday, security staff at Yujiabao Railway Station, in Tianjin, discovered that he actually had a valid ticket for a different train leaving the following day, the Everyday News reported.
