Hong Kong police charge 4 workers at child protection group with assault

Hong Kong police charged another four employees of a long-established child protection group with assault on Thursday, a day after three more suspects were arrested and two more victims were identified.
The society revealed on Tuesday it had suspended four more employees who might have been involved in the case.
After reviewing surveillance footage on Wednesday, police found two more suspected victims, a 14-month-old boy and a two-year-old girl. The children had no visible injuries.
Three suspects, aged between 25 and 28, were arrested that day and detained for questioning
On Wednesday last week, police arrested three employees, aged between 23 and 44, on suspicion of child neglect and abuse.
The alleged offences included yanking their hair, hitting their heads, slapping their faces and throwing them onto the floor. Eighteen victims were identified initially.
