From Monday, Hongkongers can renew their SAR passports at the Immigration Department’s offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou, the department said.
They can submit their applications and collect their new passports at the department office stationed at Hong Kong’s government offices in Beijing, and at the Hong Kong Economic and Trade offices in Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou.
But the new service does not apply to people who are applying for SAR passports for the first time.
Details of this service are available on the department’s website at www.immd.gov.hk.
Its hotline (852) 2824 6111 and e-mail address enquiry@immd.gov.hk are available for inquiries.
