A real estate agent accused of slashing a man with a knife and assaulting another during an anti-government protest on Friday has been remanded to a psychiatric facility, after a court heard he had been battling depression for a year.
Kwong Sing-yu faced three counts at Kwun Tong Court on Monday in relation to the attack on June 12, the first anniversary of violent clashes between protesters and police outside the Legislative Council.

The 27-year-old was said to have knifed Ma Fu-shin, and assaulted Fung Man-kit, at 9pm when protesters gathered at a bus station near Kwun Tong MTR station.
