- Prosecutors are mulling charging Hoang Lam-phuc, 17, with failing to surrender to custody and conspiracy to assist offenders in addition to his existing case
- Hoang and another teen were handed over to Hong Kong police by mainland authorities after they decided not to charge him with illegally crossing the national border
