- Coach was fired after the intimate photos circulated online on Thursday
- He allegedly worked with Catholic secondary school, which Education Bureau declined to identify

Police have launched an investigation into the non-consensual publication of intimate images after a basketball coach at a Hong Kong secondary school was fired for allegedly having sex with a student.
The photos that allegedly showed the coach having sex with a female student circulated online on Thursday evening, prompting education to express deep concern over the matter.
“Police noticed the related post on internet forums on the afternoon of February 22,” a force spokesman said on Friday. “[They] have already proactively contacted the school involved and arranged for the removal of the related posts. The case is currently being listed as ‘publication of intimate images without consent’.”

No arrests have been made so far, according to police.
The coach was said to have offered training at a Catholic secondary school in Southern district of Hong Kong Island. The Post has reached out to the school for confirmation.
The Education Bureau declined to identify the institution involved but said it had immediately contacted the school.
A bureau spokesman said it had asked the school to investigate and produce a report, while also offering to provide support.
