Hong Kong YouTuber Carriage Lau jailed for 5½ months for molesting 7 teenage girls, woman
- Psychological report finds there is a ‘very high risk’ Carriage Lau will commit further sexual offences in the future

A Hong Kong court has sentenced a 28-year-old YouTuber to 5½ months in prison for molesting seven teenage girls and a woman, after a psychological report indicated there was a “very high risk” he would commit further sexual offences in the future.
Lau Chun-hin, who goes by the alias Carriage Lau on social media, received the sentence at Tuen Mun Court on Friday for the assaults he committed across three districts between November 29 last year and January 1, 2024.
Acting Principal Magistrate Daniel Tang Siu-hung said Lau had repeatedly breached the law within a short period using the same tactic, which is touching the victims’ legs after pretending to pick up objects he intentionally dropped.
He rejected the defence argument that a government psychologist’s findings on Lau’s risk of reoffending only represented a “subjective” view on the matter.
Lau was sentenced to four to six weeks for each of the eight counts of indecent assault and one of common assault, to which he pleaded guilty last month, totalling 24 weeks.
The internet personality is expected to complete his sentence soon, having been remanded in custody since his last arrest early this year.
