Mother of baby found dead in Hong Kong flat ‘gave birth in public toilet’
Mother also told police officers she was unaware of her pregnancy, source says

Police have arrested a woman who allegedly gave birth in a public toilet near Hong Kong Disneyland and brought home the baby boy, who was later found dead.
The Post learned that the mother, 30, told officers on Monday she was unaware of her pregnancy.
The woman experienced abdominal pain and gave birth to the boy in a public toilet near Disneyland after finishing work there on Saturday evening, a source said.
She then wrapped the baby in a bag and took him home to her flat in the Lido Garden development in Sham Tseng in the New Territories, without her family knowing, the source added.
The Filipino woman, who lives with her husband, 11-year-old son and her in-laws, later sent a WhatsApp message to her mother-in-law and apologised.
When the grandmother returned home on Monday afternoon, she checked the room shared by the woman and her 11-year-old and found the baby unconscious on the bed.
