Hong Kong man clings to speeding car in Jackie Chan-style move after argument
Police arrest trio in car including woman believed to be the man’s girlfriend

Hong Kong police have arrested three people in a private car for drug-related offences after a viral video revealed a dangerous driving incident involving a man clinging to the windscreen of the moving vehicle on a busy highway.
The 37-second dashcam clip, which circulated widely online on Tuesday, captured a car speeding along Fan Kam Road in Sheung Shui, repeatedly accelerating and braking, with the man gripping the windscreen.
Online reactions ranged from shock to amusement, with many internet users comparing the action of the man – who hung on for about 10 minutes over 5km – to actor Jackie Chan’s stunts in the film “Police Story”.
Police said that they arrested two men, aged 39 and 42, and a woman, 33, from the vehicle for drug-impaired driving, dangerous driving, common assault and possession of dangerous drugs.
Senior Inspector Lai Yee-wing of the Tai Po district crime squad said the 53-year-old man who ended up on the windscreen had an argument with the woman, his girlfriend, on Fu Hing Street in Sheung Shui on Monday morning.
The woman then called two male friends to pick her up. When the car arrived, she got in with the two men, but her boyfriend attempted to stop her by climbing onto the bonnet.
