Immigration Department helping family of Hong Kong man, 26, missing in Cambodia
Man reportedly lost touch with family after arriving in Cambodia on Sunday, with last known GPS location in southeastern Svay Rieng province

The Immigration Department is providing support to the family of a 26-year-old Hong Kong man who is suspected to be missing in Cambodia.
The department said on Wednesday night it had contacted China’s foreign ministry office in Hong Kong and the Chinese embassy in Cambodia, and was providing support and guidance in accordance with the family’s wishes, while not disclosing any details.
Hong Kong media earlier reported that a 26-year-old Hongkonger had asked for help on social media during a trip to Cambodia and was suspected to have gone missing.
The man reportedly lost contact with his family shortly after arriving in the country with a friend on Sunday night. His last known GPS location was in the southeastern Svay Rieng province.

The man’s family reportedly filed a police report and sought help from the Immigration Department.
