UpdateMoney dispute suspected: three arrested after Hong Kong police find decomposed body in cement-filled box
Victim’s clothing matches that of missing 28-year-old Cheung Man-li, and investigators look for five people in relation to the gruesome case

A money dispute was the suspected motive behind the killing of a 28-year-old man whose decomposed body was uncovered encased in a cement-filled box in Hong Kong, the Post has learnt.
Police are searching for at least five people in relation to the gruesome death, following the arrest of three individuals in the early hours of Wednesday.
One of the five Hongkongers wanted in connection with the killing was understood to be the male tenant of a Fui Yiu Kok Street industrial unit in Tsuen Wan, where the body was found encased in freshly-poured cement on Tuesday night.

Sources said the investigation showed the tenant, in his 20s, had fled the city after he allegedly told his friend he had killed someone.
“The others include men and women and are believed to be his friends,” said a source with knowledge of the investigation on Wednesday.
The victim has not yet been identified, but clothes found on the body matched those worn by Cheung Man-li, 28, who was reported missing by his girlfriend on March 6.

Security camera footage showed Cheung was last seen entering the Tsuen Wan industrial building with his friend – the flat’s tenant – on March 4, according to another source. Cheung was unemployed and lived in North Point.
