Prosperity summit returns to Hong Kong next month with focus on AI, trade wars

The second edition of a summit aimed at fostering greater exchanges among experts and thought leaders to promote sustainable global prosperity will take place in Hong Kong next month.

This year’s Global Prosperity Summit will feature five expert panels, covering topics such as space development, artificial intelligence, trade wars, climate change, and Hong Kong’s pivotal role as a bridge between China and the world.

Notable speakers include Wu Hailong, president of the China Public Diplomacy Association and former assistant minister of Foreign Affairs, and Andrew Ng Yan-tak, a prominent British-American computer scientist and technology entrepreneur.

Yang Gao, a professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, will moderate a panel discussion on space exploration breakthroughs.

The summit will be held at Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel in Aberdeen from May 19 to 21, drawing participants from academia, business and policy sectors across North America, Europe, mainland China and Asia.
