A woman in China has touched mainland internet users after she kept talking to a driver trapped in a mangled car after an accident to keep him awake until help arrived.
The unidentified woman from Shanxi province in northwestern China won praise for her kindness to the injured driver after she came across the accident scene in early February, Star Video reported.
In the cold and windy conditions, she insisted on giving what comfort and support she could to the driver as he lay trapped in his car.
In a video posted with the news story, the woman is shown crouching on the ground next to the crashed car and talking to the driver trapped inside.
“Do you feel cold? Please find a comfortable position for yourself,” the woman said.
She continued: “Your family is coming in a moment. Hang in there, please!”
