‘Lying down to win’: mother completes 13km mini marathon while pushing baby in stroller, delights Chinese social media

A woman in China who finished a 13km mini marathon while pushing a stroller carrying her six-month-old baby has inspired mainland social media.
The woman in her 30s, surnamed Liu, from Hubei province in central China, took two hours to complete the route with her son on April 6, Bailu Video reported.
In a video posted with the story, Liu is shown running with one hand on the stroller handle and the other moving by her side. Her little son is shown sitting calmly in the stroller in front of her.
Liu is a sports enthusiast, but this was her first time running a marathon since her son was born. Despite the added challenge, she said she was not concerned because she has become used to taking her son in the stroller when walking and running for exercise.
Liu said she was worried about collisions with other runners injuring her son, so she waited until the other runners had gone before she started.

She completed the route easily despite stopping twice to feed her son milk after 3km and again at the 6km point, which only added half an hour to her final time, she said.
