A woman in China chased a car on her motorcycle for 1km after a couple drove off leaving their son behind at a tourist site and trended on mainland social media.
Local news site AB Video reported that the unidentified parents failed to notice their son was not with them when leaving a lake in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in northwestern China. They only realised he was missing when they saw a woman on a motorcycle chasing them.
When the boy saw his parents driving away without him, he ran after them but failed to get their attention. A woman in the car park saw this and offered to try catching his parents on her motorbike while he waited.
After chasing the boy’s parents for about 1km, the woman managed to catch up with them and get their attention by sounding her horn.
“Your son is left behind,” the woman yelled loudly.
After thanking the woman, the parents turned their car around and went back to pick up their son.
