Serving delicious dishes from Beijing and Huaiyang for years, Dong Lai Shun is the restaurant to go to when you’re craving some spice in your life. Top dishes include the Mongolian mutton hotpot (Shuan Yang Rou), a most delectable stew that brings out the delicate flavour of the lamb.

Other hotpots are available too, with a fantastic variety of soups and quality ingredients. The restaurant featured its own spicy sauces last year – more than 20 kinds of spices, plus chillies and fermented soybean were used to create the home-made condiments. Seasonal dishes occur widely on the menu and keep things interesting. If there ever was a place worth repeat visits, it’s Dong Lai Shun.
