French bistro Belon makes it a local affair in Central
- The restaurant’s ground floor channels stripped-down chic, while upstairs is a stylish parlour for cocktails or private dining

Belon is a neo-Parisian bistro showcasing French dishes with local influences. Chef Daniel Calvert sources the best seasonal ingredients. The house-made naturally leavened bead with salted Channel Island butter is not to be missed, followed by the daily selection of oysters served with champagne mignonette.

Mains of whole roasted chicken and pigeon pithivier with fig and amaretto are excellent choices. The 48 month-aged comté and millefeuille are delicious to end with. There is a good selection of French wines. The ground-floor restaurant is stripped-down chic, but head to Upstairs at Belon, the secluded stylish parlour, for a cocktail. Great for private dining.
