Wing Lei Palace’s Cantonese menu, European decor and lake views impress on a grand scale
- Decor reminiscent of opera house sets the stage for fine dining

Fine-dining Cantonese restaurant Wing Lei Palace does not fail to impress. The decor is reminiscent of a European opera house with a three-tiered elegant space in jade and gold chinoiserie overlooking the hotel’s lake.

Executive chef Tam Kwok-fung’s signature set menu includes oysters with crispy rice in chicken broth, deep-fried yellow croaker fillet and crab roe toast with chilled dried plum-flavoured baby tomato. There are extensive à la carte options. For lunch, the dim sum set menu includes barbecued black Iberian pork glazed with honey and served with tossed egg noodle and shrimp roe in abalone sauce. Ask the tea sommelier to pair your dishes with one of the 50 specially curated brews.
