Morpheus Macau’s Yi serves up innovative dishes with freshly-picked produce
- Chefs visit markets for seasonal ingredients to create dishes like Wagyu beef char siew and lemon-grass baby pigeon, offered with a choice of six teas
Yi is located on the 21st floor Skybridge at Morpheus Macau, known for its design by Zaha Hadid Architects. The restaurant offers innovative regional Chinese cuisines on tasting menus that change daily.
Chefs Angelo Wong, previously at Howard’s Gourmet, and Wilson Fam, formerly with Jade Garden, are inspired by seasonal ingredients, creating dishes daily after visiting markets. They put a new spin on traditional dishes such as honey-roasted Wagyu beef char siew and oven-roasted lemongrass baby pigeon. There are tea sommeliers to pair your fare with a choice of six – white, yellow, green, oolong, black and red – with new teas sourced regularly. There is also an extensive wine and liquor list.
