K-pop boy band BTS’ ‘Idol’ video passes 400 million YouTube views

  • The hit song joins six other music videos by the US chart-topping group that have achieved that milestone
K-pop boy band BTS’ ‘Idol’ video has now been seen more than 400 million times on YouTube, the group’s management agency says.

The music video for the K-pop boy band BTS’ song Idol exceeded 400 million views on YouTube on Saturday – the seventh video by the group to reach the milestone.

The latest achievement came seven months after the seven-man group released the song, BTS’ management agency, Big Hit Entertainment, said.

The boy band’s six other music videos to hit the 400-million-view mark include DNA, Fake Love and Mic Drop.

Last year’s DNA has garnered more than 600 million views.

BTS twice topped the US Billboard album chart twice last year, and also enjoyed sold-out concerts in North America as part of its world tour.
