Lawry’s The Prime Rib opened its doors in California in 1938. It came to Hong Kong in 2006. Famous for its prime beef ribs, served tableside from a traditional silver cart, there is a bar for pre-dinner drinks and four private rooms.

The menu includes traditional steakhouse dishes such as lobster tail and jumbo shrimp cocktail starters, fish of the day, salmon, lamb and chicken as alternatives to steak, but it is the rib-eye that diners usually come for with gratin potatoes and crisp fried onions and cabernet sauce. There is an extensive international wine list which includes Lawry’s private label, and the sommelier’s recommended wine pairing suggestions.
