If you are looking for a CrossFit gym in Hong Kong, you are spoiled for choice. There are eight across the city, each with a range of packages for you to sign up to, but all with the same goal: to make you fitter and happier.

CrossFit Asphodel, Kennedy Town HK$2,200 for 13 classes, HK$2,800 unlimited per month

Located in Kennedy Town, Asphodel is Hong Kong’s original CrossFit Gym. It has classes through the week, and on weekends has a long Olympic weightlifting class dedicated to getting technique correct and building strength. You will get the chance to be trained by Victoria Campos, at one time Hong Kong’s fittest woman.

Fitness Playground, Kowloon Bay HK$1,900 per month for a 12-month package

One of the cheapest gyms on the market, they pride themselves on affordability and being available to students. It is also the one CrossFit gym in Kowloon, so if you are based on that side of the city it is the perfect way to get your workouts in without wasting time on travel.

CrossFit ATMA, Tai Po Existing member renew HK$990 (one year); new join member HK$1,680 (one year), then buy class credits

Primarily, ATMA is a mixed martial arts gym, so many of the classes are based around Muay Thai, boxing and yoga, which are all great workouts.

But as a CrossFit affiliate, you can also take CrossFit classes. The only gym in the New Territories, it’s great for northern residents.

Fitness Academy, Quarry Bay

Starts at HK$2,800 per month

If you are one of many office workers based in Taikoo Place, the Academy is a great place to join. There are 60-minute classes throughout the day, starting at 6.30am, which means you can go before work, lunch or post-work.

They are dedicated to making you fit for life, not just for looks or sport, so you will “be able to play with your grandkids in the park in the future”, the website reads.

CrossFit Cavaliers, Kennedy Town

Starts at HK$2,500 per month

Not only does Cavaliers have a host of CrossFit sessions, but it also hosts Fun Fit classes, which are based around high-intensity interval training (HIIT), so you can workout without the worry of the traditional CrossFit movements, like muscle-ups or Olympic weightlifting.

CrossFit Typhoon, Sai Ying Pun

12 sessions for HK$2,300, unlimited HK$2,700 per month

Residents of Sai Ying Pun will be familiar with the sight of sweating crossfitters lumbering up and down the road. With a big front entrance to Typhoon, the classes often involve a run to the top of the stairs between Third and High Street, or a sprint to the end of the road, along with the more common workouts such as weightlifting and box jumps.

The gym hosts CrossFit sessions and also boot camps that push you but without complex movements or heavy lifting.

Coastal Fitness, Fortress Hill

Starts at HK$1,700 per month

At Coastal Fitness you will be trained by the likes of Ant Haynes, CrossFit Games athlete 2019 and 2020, and Tammi Robinson, CrossFit Games athlete 2020. With staff like that, you will be pushed to your limits and have the chance to gain from their experience if your aim in CrossFit is to start competing.

There are classes and levels that are more suitable for beginners or people who have different aims, be it in another sport, or health and wellness in general.

CrossFit 852, Central

10 sessions for HK$2,500, HK$2,450 unlimited for a 12-month package

Located bang in the middle of Hong Kong, it is a good option for people working in Central or living in Mid-Levels. The gym has classes throughout the day beginning at 6am, so you can fit it in around your work hours.
