Hong Kong Gold Cup 2015i

The 2015 Citibank Hong Kong Gold Cup is a Group 1 race over 2,000m held on March 1st 2015 for horses aged three years or older. It is the second leg of the Triple Crown –  the other two are the Stewards’ Cup and the  Champions & Chater Cup. Each race of the Triple Crown carries prize money of HK$10 million. A special bonus of HK$10 million will be paid to the owner of a horse winning all three legs of the series. River Verdon is the only horse to have achieved this feat, in the 1993/94 season.
