Born on January 9, 1982, Catherine grew up in Chapel Row, a village near Newbury, Berkshire, England. She met Prince William in 2001 while studying Art History in Scotland at the University of St Andrews. They were married at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. On January 14, 2013, St James's Palace announced that the Duchess was expecting her first child in July 2013.
