Known for his extensive experience in sports administration, he previously served as Hong Kong’s first Commissioner for Sports from 2016 to 2022. His responsibilities included coordinating sports policy, promoting elite sports development and making Hong Kong a hub for major international events. He played a key role in organising the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events. Currently, he leads efforts to plan and implement the 15th National Games and other related events co-hosted in 2025, aiming to elevate Hong Kong’s sports development.
