Former Olympic stars employed as gym teachers as China pushes more physical education in schools

A new programme in China designed to reduce rising rates of childhood obesity and the stress of excess study is bringing some star power to school gymnasiums by employing former Olympic Games athletes. The new push for less study and at least two hours a day of physical exercise has offered former Olympic stars like Sui Lu a new career path. This former gymnast and one-time Olympic silver medallist now spends her time teaching children about the joys and rewards of participating in sports.
