Australia and China cooperation too valuable for 'nonsensical' decoupling

Gareth Evans, a former Australian foreign minister during the Hawke-Keating administration which was open to working with Asia, says there are so many areas where Australia and China can work together that it's important for the two countries to ease tensions and seek a calmer diplomatic approach.  Evans spoke with the SCMP's Su-Lin Tan on June 29, 2020.
