Lion dancing: good wishes for the Lunar New Year

The lion dance is an iconic sight during Lunar New Year and other festive occasions across China, as well as in Southeast Asia and in ethnic Chinese communities around the world.

While preparing for the busy season welcoming the Year of the Pig, Hong Kong lion dancing master Lee Yun-fook and his apprentice offered a look at skills required for lion dancing and offered some insight about the origins of the tradition handed down through generations.
