Fans of the Netflix series Culinary Class Wars in 2024 will remember Scott Kang, one of the standouts of the show’s first season. He competed as a “black spoon” under the name “Triple Star” for having worked at several Michelin three-starred restaurants. Kang’s restaurant Trid received its own Michelin star for three consecutive years. In December 2025, Kang travelled to Hong Kong for a one-night only four-hands dinner with Bruno Jeong, head chef of Mosu Hong Kong. He spoke to the Post about his experience with the Netflix hit and what his career has been like since.
