Babywear business does the shopping for busy parents
With the growing popularity of online shopping, it was only a matter of time before parents started looking for the same service for their little ones.
Rather than selecting clothes from photos on a website and checking out with a credit card, parents have simply to provide information about the child's age, size and style preferences.
The Peekabox team does the rest, selecting clothes from brands sourced internationally, such as Charlie Banana and Baby Prime. A box will then be delivered every month, at HK$368 each, with four to five items inside.
Vivienne Chan, who studied architecture at university, started the business with her partner, Joanna Cheung, when she found Hong Kong lacking in such an online service.
"It's similar to the idea of Luxe Box, but instead of beauty products, we offer babywear," said Chan.
"We're still improving our website and hoping to include more brands in the future. For Christmas, we're launching a gift option, which costs HK$498 and includes everything from toys to books and blankets."
With every box sold, Peekabox makes a donation to Mother's Choice.
