Career in Singapore is for medicinal purposes
Listed company offers exciting opportunity for an ambitious, hard-working professional
Whether your experience is in conventional western medicine, clinical research or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), an exciting opportunity beckons in the Lion City.
Singapore-listed Eu Yan Sang International is inviting applications for an executive manager, clinical affairs, for its fully owned subsidiary, Eu Yan Sang Integrative Health.
The division is responsible for providing TCM and integrative medicine, and clinical services throughout the Eu Yan Sang group in Singapore and overseas.
'This position is important because one of the key responsibilities is to manage and co-ordinate clinical affairs and clinical governance initiatives for the clinics. And, because we provide a medical service, we have to ensure this [person] plays a key role in ensuring clinical standards are in place,' said Caryn Peh, the company's vice-president, care delivery.
In addition to this primary role, Ms Peh said there were three other key responsibilities. The executive manager would have to liaise with respective regulatory agencies, provide secretariat support internally for the various clinical affairs committees and interact with many health-care professionals.
Sharing knowledge of TCM by conducting presentations to external parties and members of the public was also expected, she said.
