Vicky Cheng, chef of Michelin-starred Vea, dug deep into his Chinese roots for his take on refined Chinese cuisine. Taking inspiration from the eight culinary traditions of China, chef Cheng will respect traditional disciplines during preparation while adding new techniques and combinations. Diners can look forward to dishes like crispy skin sugar cane-glazed crispy pigeon, chopped chilli fish maw and king crab congee with chicken oil.

The city collectively shed a tear when it was announced that Cafe Gray on the 49th floor of The Upper House would close. Taking its place though is the much anticipated Salisterra, a Mediterranean-themed restaurant that promises to bring the flavours of coastal France and Italy to the plates of Hong Kong. The decor has been updated with clean marble and jade green accents. Definitely one to check out in the coming months.
