Breast Cancer Awareness: 5 restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau that are fighting breast cancer one pink drink, dish and dessert at a time

Restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau are offering pink-coloured dishes, desserts and drinks to commemorate the Pink Ribbon campaign, which hopes to raise breast cancer awareness. Featured here is the Conrad Macao's pink picnic.

October has become synonymous with the Pink Ribbon campaign, an effort to fight against breast cancer. Both Hong Kong and Macau have always been passionate at spreading the word, so much so that many F&B outlets participate in the campaign each year. Since we eat three meals and day (and let’s not count how many snacks and drinks), why not spread awareness by putting your money where your mouth is and patronising some of these fine establishments?

The Langham hotel’s Magic Pink afternoon tea features all sorts of pink coloured desserts and drinks to promote breast cancer awareness.

The Langham hotel’s signature pink colour is as iconic as the establishment itself, so of course, you’d expect such an esteemed institution to embrace an initiative such as Pink October. The Magic Pink afternoon tea set features gorgeous pink treats such as cheesecake and lamingtons presented on elegant Wedgwood teaware, and are accompanied by a traditional three-tiered English afternoon tea stand. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.
