The Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (HKFTU) is Hong Kong’s oldest and largest pro-Beijing labour and political group, established in 1948. Headquartered in Tokwawan, Kowloon, it boasts over 420,000 members. Its primary mission is to safeguard labour rights and welfare, advocating for fair wages, safe working conditions, and social harmony. The HKFTU actively participates in political affairs, holding seats in legislative bodies, and is recognised for its significant influence as a pro-Beijing organisation affiliated with the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.
