UTMB schedule: All the information you need for the TDS, OCC, CCC and Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc

Everything you need to know about the trail races happening in Chamonix’s famous running week which runs from August 29 to September 2

The Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc is a packed week in the running calender, hosting a number of the world’s most gruelling trail races leading up to the 171km namesake itself. Here is everything you need to know to navigate the week and monitor the media as the winners cross the lines.

TDS (Traces des Ducs de Savoie)

Start in Courmayeur: 8am Wednesday 29th of August (delayed from 6am start due to weather)

First men’s finisher estimate: 10:30pm Wednesday 29th of August

First women’s finisher estimate: 00:30pm Wednesday 29th of August

Cut off: 16:00 Thursday 30th of August

Distance: 121 kilometres

Total vertical gain: 7,300 metres

Highest point above sea level: Col Chavannes, 2,603m

YCC (Youth Chamonix Courmayeur)

Start in Courmayeur: 10am Wednesday 29th of August

First finisher estimate: 11:30am Wednesday of August

Cut off: 14:00 Wednesday 29th of August

Distance: 15km

Total vertical gain: 1,000m

OCC (Orsieres Champex Chamonix)

Start in Orieres: 8:15am Thursday 30th of August

First men’s finisher estimate: 1:30pm Thursday 30th of August

First women’s finisher estimate: 2:45pm Thursday 30th of August

Cut off: 22:45 Thursday 30th of August

Distance: 55km

Total vertical gain: 3,500m

Highest point above sea level: Les Tseppes, 2,065m

CCC (Courmayeur Champex Chamonix)

Start in Courmayeaur: 9:00am Friday 31st of August

First men’s finisher estimate: 8:30pm Friday 31st of August

Cut off: 12:00 noon Saturday 1st of September

Distance: 101km

Total vertical gain: 6,100m

Highest point above sea level: Tete de la Tronche, 2,584m

Start in Chamonix: 6:00pm Friday 31st of August

Cut off: 16:30 Sunday 2nd of September

Distance: 170km

Total vertical gain: 10,000m
